Volunteers Needed for the Following

Fellow Republican attendees elect two precinct leaders who will be responsible for organizing political activities within the precinct. Republican caucus attendees also elect delegates to represent their precinct at the AC-GOP County/ District conventions, delegates to the congressional district assemblies, judicial assemblies and the state assembly.

The Arapahoe County assembly is convened to designate House District and Senate District candidates for the primary election and to ratify delegates to the judicial district assemblies, congressional district assemblies, and the state assembly, who were previously nominated at the caucuses.

The congressional district assembly is then convened to designate district level delegates to the national convention. The delegates also nominate candidates for Congress, the Colorado General Assembly, the State Board of Education, the Board of Regents, and District Attorneys.

The purpose of the Colorado GOP state assembly is to nominate candidates for statewide offices to the primary election ballot. During the assembly, delegates will also be elected to the national convention.
