FEATURED SPEAKER: Attorney General Cynthia Coffman
Cynthia Coffman was elected as Colorado's Attorney General in November 2014. Her career includes a wide variety of legal experiences. She was appointed in 2005 as Colorado's Deputy Attorney General by then Attorney General John Suthers. Cynthia Coffman has served as a lawyer for the Olympic Games that were held in Atlanta, GA, as well as serving in the Colorado Department of Health & Environment. Her experience also includes the title of chief legal counsel for Governor Bill Owens. There are 260 attorneys in the Colorado Attorney General's office, who have dozens of different cases each day.
April's community service project: We will be collecting "gently used - work appropriate" shoes and handbags only (NO CLOTHING) for at-risk women, who have completed job readiness programs and are entering or returning to the workforce. Dress for Success Denver is helping these women. Tax deductible receipts for the shoes and handbags will be issued. We will also pass the baskets for cash donations.
