18TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE
DISTRICT ASSEMBLY MARCH 31, 2016

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes § 1-3-103 and Article IX of the bylaws of the 18th Judicial District Republican Central Committee, and the applicable bylaws and rules of the Republican Party, notice is hereby given that the 18th Judicial District Republican Central Committee Assembly shall be convened on:

Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. (Check in to start at 6:00 p.m.)

At the gymnasium of Legend High School, 22219 Hilltop Rd., Parker, CO 80138. The campus is located at the northeast corner of Hilltop Road & Canterberry Parkway. The principal purpose of this Assembly shall be to designate a Republican candidate or candidates for the Office of District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District placement on the 2016 primary election ballot, pursuant to C.R.S. § 1-4-601, verification of the membership of the District Attorney Vacancy Committee, and to consider any and all other business that may properly come before the 18th Judicial District Republican Central Committee.

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 1 of the By-laws, voting members for the assembly automatically include these 13 individuals: the chairs and vice-chairs of each county GOP parties, the executive officers of the 18th JD GOP CC, and any elected Republican District Attorney. Pursuant to Article IX, Section 3, of the By-Laws, “The JDCC officers shall apportion the number of delegates and alternates to the District Assembly to each county in the District in direct proportion to the number of votes cast in each county for the Republican candidate for Governor or President in the last general election. The previous sentence notwithstanding, each county shall have at least one delegate and one alternate to the District Assembly.“ These delegates shall be allocated amongst the counties based upon the results of the algorithm of one-third of one percent of the votes cast for the GOP candidate in the 2014 gubernatorial election in each county. The total number of voting members will therefore be allocated as follows:
