Lincoln Day Dinner 2018
Meet Keni Thomas and our Republican candidates!
You've seen the movie "Blackhawk Down" about the heroic efforts of US Special Forces to rescue downed US soldiers fighting Somali warlords in 1993. But what if you could hear the story straight from an Army Ranger who was there fighting on the Mogadishu streets that day? Join us as decorated U.S. military veteran-turned-country musician Keni Thomas gives a personal account of the deadly battle that day, and offers a unique set of leadership lessons and inspired view of our greater purpose.
When you discover first-hand what makes soldiers willingly put their lives on the line for each other, then you begin to understand what it takes for you to do the same. If leading by example is something that is important to you, then you will want to hear what Keni Thomas has to say about combat and the battles he fought.
Last year's Lincoln Day Dinner sold out, and this year will too.

“Leadership has never been about the rank,
the position nor the title we hold.
It is the example we set for the people we serve.
Who is on your left and who’s on your right?”
