The
Arapahoe County Republican Party is organized to support the
fundamental principles of the Republican Party as reflected in the
State and National Platforms.
The purposes of the
Arapahoe County Republican Party are: to elect Republican candidates
to office; to encourage membership in the Republican Party;
to encourage participation in the electoral process
and at all levels of government: to educate the community regarding
social, political and civic issues: and to perform the functions set
forth in the election laws of the State of Colorado.
The
County
Party is
organized by Precincts with elected Precinct Leaders. Each Precinct is assigned to
an elected District Captain.
The Executive Committee, together with the elected Officers
of the Party, provides leadership in accordance with the Party’s
Bylaws. The duties of
the Precinct Leaders, District Captains, Executive Committee, and
Party Officers are defined by the Bylaws.
Through
affiliate organizations like the Cherry Creek Republican Women, the
Arapahoe Republican Men’s Club, the Aurora Republican Forum (“ARF”),
and the West Arapahoe Republican Forum (“WARF”, the Party provides
forums for debate and discussion of social, political and civic
issues.
